Under the yellow button there is so-called "multipurpose indicator" that shows both the battery charge level and the temperature level (3 colors - green, orange, red). Fortunately, the 5000mAh battery can be dropped into any charger that accommodates 21700 batteries.ĥ Last but not least is the button, which contrasts beautifully with the black casing. The charging speed could be a bit faster, the 1A current is a bit low for today's times. You can use it interchangeably between other flashlights. Magnetic charging despite the larger diameter is identical as in other Wizards, and the charger is identical. Nevertheless, the stabilization is exemplary and the runtime of 7h on 21700 cell in medium mode is really impressive. If you remember Wizards of the generation 3, then, unfortunately, in the version 4 the temperature threshold is lowered, which means that, in the Turbo mode, the flashlight decreases its brightness before it gets hot and does not increase it after it cools down. In the Max model, the optics are wider than in previous Wizards, which in practice means, on the one hand, more area in front of the user covered with light, and on the other, less throw despite the increase in power.Īs befits a Wizard, we have flat stabilization here. Wizard comes equipped in Cree XHP70.2 LED in two versions - White (5700K) and Warm (4000K) provides a nice, even distribution of light. As far as minor details are concerned, it is nice to see a glass protecting optics, which without protection would get scratched quickly. Anodization with a specific texture of chalk adheres very well to the fingers, but quickly catches scratches. Resistance to falls from 10m, immersion in water up to 10m is something that is rarely found in the competition. Performance of ArmyTek flashlights is world class, Wizard Max does not stand out. Of course I encourage you to watch the full review in English, below a few words of summary □ Wizard headlamps are one of the best on the market, and the Max version, although a bit bigger and heavier, gives noticeably longer runtime and maximum power.
